I spent 18 years of my life with this view behind me. Not exactly the same one, though, because the MSG management didn’t invest in windows cleaning!
I spent 27 years in the United States—6 years in California (Silicon Valley and LA) and 21 years in New York—all of them working in the IT field. Although I became a U.S. citizen, I returned to France for my retirement. I’m interested in photography, travel, astrophotography, and, more recently, video. For enthusiasts, the store in the photo, B&H, is the world’s largest retailer of photography and video equipment. You can try everything out: you wait in line a bit at the brand you’re interested in (Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc.), you can handle the equipment, they’ll let you borrow it, and then you can go a different stand to borrow a lens. Since I worked on the 29th floor of the MSG, B&H is just a block and a half away. I must have gone there about a hundred times, wolfing down a sandwich on the way.
For astrophotography specialists, Adorama is a cut above the rest.
