Charles Messier, né à Badonviller dans la principauté de Salm-Salm le 26 juin 1730 et mort à Paris le 12 avril 1817, est un astronome français, éminent chasseur de comètes. Il est renommé pour avoir créé le fameux catalogue de 110 objets du ciel profond portant son nom.
Pour pouvoir le visualiser sur une tablette ou un téléphone j’ai découpé ce catalogue par tranches de 20 objets.
Charles Messier (26 June 1730 – 12 April 1817) was a French astronomer. He published an astronomical catalogue consisting of 110 nebulae and faint star clusters, which came to be known as the Messier objects. The catalog is a set of 110 astronomical objects. To make it readable on a table or telephone I split the catalog in slices of 20 objects.
