Telescopes Used

Most images are taken with the Telescope Live Network, some with Deep Sky West and a few with the Hubble Space Telescope (HST). In the latter case, images are downloaded from MAST (Barbara A. Mikulski Archive for Space Telescopes). All processing is done with PixInsight and sometimes enhanced with Photoshop.

Up to June 2021 I worked with Deep Sky West, then I switched to Telescope Live, which, in two aspects, gives a better business proposition: multiple telescopes distributed in the Northern and Southern hemisphere and images are already calibrated. Delivering calibrated images is really a big plus; without it one needs to go through calibration of bias, dark and flat frames. I used to do it before, this step may take a long time.
